Born in November 18th 1979 in Algiers, Raoui Abdelghani discovered a true passion for cinema at the early age of ten. He initially wanted to be Mel Gibson, then Jean Claude Van Damme, without success. After seeing Scorcese's "Taxi Driver" at twelve, he decided to become screenwriter. He studied painting in the Fine Arts Academy of Algiers, followed by screenwriting. He wrote a number of screenplays, which he did not manage to realise until he made a delirious surrealist work with a small budget: "The Daily Robots (Le Quotidien Des Automates)". He directed a video clip for the local rock band Litham and several artistic videos. He is has written several films, works as an editor on several documentary and fictional films, and is preparing two short films, "Hunger" and "Technically Hard", for 2010.

سيرة ذاتية لمخرح الفيلم

وُلد راوي عبدالغني في ١٨ نوفمبر ١٩٧٩ بالجزائر و إذا به يكشف عن شغف حقيقي بالسينما يدور داخله و هو في العاشرة من العمر. أراد في البداية أن يكون مثل ميل جيبسون ثم مثل جين كلود فان دام و لكنه لم ينجح في ذلك. بعد مشاهدته لفيلم "سائق التاكسي" لسكورسيز قرر أن يصبح كاتبًا للسيناريو. درس الرسم في أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة بالجزائر ثم درس بعد ذلك كتابة السيناريو. كتب عدد من السيناريوهات و التي لم يستطع تنفيذها حتى أنهى عمله السيريالي الهذياني بميزانية ضئيلة و هو "الآليون اليوميون" The Daily Robots /Le Quotidien Des Automates. قام بإخراج فيديو كليب لفرقة الروك المحلية ليثام Litham بالإضافة إلى عمله لعدد من أفلام الفيديو. يقوم بكتابة العديد من الأفلام و يعمل كمحرر للعديد من الأفلام التسجيلية والروائية و يقوم حاليًا بإعداد فليمين قصيرين و هما "الجوع" و "صعب فنيًا" Technically Hard لعام ٢٠١٠.
