This talented and beautiful young lady pulled off her role as a Nigerian elite seductress so well; learning that she is not Nigerian throws you off. Her powerful performance can be accredited to her experience as an actress in England as well as the time and dedication she put into "Changing Faces" (Faruk Lasaki, Nigeria, 2007).

Rachael enjoyed the difference in style used in this movie and particularly had to work at her attitude. This means she had to learn how to put her "attitude before the line delivery". Coming from a background where the line delivery carries the attitude, she had a lot of work to do in this department.

She had to learn all the little sounds made by Nigerians either before or after a sentence and understand that they mean different things at different times.

As if the language was not enough learning on its own, Rachael is nothing like Lola so she had to find out what a typical "Lola" would be like and learn to be that person.

She embarked on discovering how a woman who uses her sexuality to get what she wanted does it. Rachael's acting experience and drive sailed her through this role as she pulled it off remarkably.

Having a very supportive crew helped Rachael with any challenges she may have faced on set. Nevertheless, being in a different cultural setting altogether was a challenge on its own especially since Rachael believed most people considered her a "Lola" type. Habits that are overlooked in England were suddenly magnified in Nigeria and she felt like she did not fit in. She actually felt restricted.

She too has taken away a life changing lesson from the movie. She quickly points out that though most people on the straight and narrow like Dale may lose their direction for a bit, it does not make them bad people. As long as we can learn to pull our energies from a "good source", we are on the right track.

Rachael enjoyed playing Lola, being stretched as an actress and the growth she derived during the shoot. She pushed herself, took risks and kept her confidence throughout the shoot. She loved the beautiful sceneries and has no regrets on taking the plunge as "Lola".
