"A monthly show is held with the Sigauque Project band, which attracts both youth and Maputo's expat community. Currently a high end production studio is being built, which will be a production studio for CMFD productions, founders of Casa Sigauque. Casa Sigauque Arts Centre: The venue has also been the site a various cultural events which have drawn increasingly large numbers of people, including several in collaboration with the United States Embassy. Casa Sigauque Music School: At the Sigauque Project space in Chamanculo, free music classes are being offered to local youth. The initial lessons have focused on music theory because of the lack of instruments. Twice weekly lessons attract young people from the community, and provide them with lessons that they would otherwise not be able to afford." (from Casa Sigauque's website)
