The 12-year-old boy on the stretcher had a small wound between his eyes. In his hand there was a stone. We had been filming outside an Israeli settlement in Gaza. Stones, teargas, live ammunition, ambulances and a small boy, Wael Imad, who died before our eyes, in the hospital. Violent Gaza.

Another youth, Moukhles a 17-year-old boy from Jabalia refugee camp Is studying English and wants to find a way out of the chaos of Gaza. The first time I filmed Moukhles was when he was three days old, at a "name-giving ceremony" during the making of the film "Gaza Ghetto". Moukhles spent his whole childhood with the Israelis in occupation. Then came the peace process, and Yassir Arafat came to Gaza as the Palestinian president. But today peace seems to be far away and in Gaza the Israeli settlers are expanding their territory. But Moukhles is still hoping for peace.

This is a film which takes us behind the sensationalism, the violence.
